Find out as much as you can about the format and content of your exams and how they will be assessed. It's important to know what is required from you so there are no nasty shocks on the day but what sort of info should you know? When are they? How long are they? What topics are covered in the exam? what sort of questions can i expect? Before each exam, make sure you:

When sat in the exam hall, keep calm and focussed on the task at hand. Remember to read all the instructions before putting pen to paper and make sure you allocate your time carefully in order to answer all the required questions. make sure your mobile phone is not with you as this can lead to disqualification! In the exam Everyone gets nervous. Take a deep breath before you go in and remember these basic guidelines: 1) listen to the instructions 2) do not communicate with any other candidates 3) raise your hand to speak with the invigilator most of all, read the questions carefully, look at the mark allocation and if you can't answer a question intially move on and then come back to it later on. |
